List of major characters in the Hashtag Decepticon AU.
Keep in mind!
I think I should remind you that we are a system. We have fictives of most of the Terrans in system, and Hashtag and her servers in particular are often around front. Everyone else in this AU is effectively someone we remember from 'back home'. The events of this AU are things we remember. To us, the "canon" you know feels like the 'weird alternate universe'.

This Hashtag struggled a lot more with various issues than her canon counterpart. She has issues with humans, and tends to avoid even the humans she once considered family, for her own comfort. During a rough period, she considered herself too out of place for the Terran faction and decided to stay with the Decepticons.
Val – Emotional Support
she/her – Transformer: Ember Terran Minicon – Rackmount Server Alt
In this timeline, Val is just as much a Terran as her host. She has a habit of teasing Hashtag, and can be very open with her, but tends to be shy with everyone except her and BackSlash. She is very rarely away from her host.
Shard Terrans
Terrans created by a shard of the Emberstone coming into contact with the blood of another Terran. While eventually having the shards removed, they are still a distinct group (subspecies? race?) of Terran, and unique "Shard Terran" genetics can be passed to offspring.
Mothwing Malto – Skittish Medic
it/its – Transformer: Shard Terran – Stealth Jet – Invisibility
The first Shard Terran, accidentally created by Nightshade during an experiment. It considers them its parent. They have just sort of accepted this.
It has taken an interest in Terran technobiology and acts as a (trainee) medic.
It is mute. It typically communicates through sign language or using its tablet.
BackSlash – Angsty Teen
they/them – Transformer: Shard Terran Minicon – Rackmount Server Alt
The second Shard Terran and the second Terran minicon. While technically being bonded to Hashtag, they are very independent and are rarely mounted.
They have a close bond with Nitro.

Best friends with Thrash, slight crush on Jawbreaker. Pals with Aftermath & BackSlash.

Spitfire – Half of a Duo
she/her – Transformer: Shard Terran – Cybertronian Drone
After a rough introduction, she eventually ended up having to work with Twitch in a dire situation. It went surprisingly well for them. The drones are made to sync so they can coordinate flight patterns, which helped them fight as a team, and even as the first cybersync.
After that, Spitfire started to value her ability as partner to Twitch rather than as a replacement. Unlike in canon, she's had the time and chance to mature. Her and Twitch are now dating, though Spitfire will insist there's much more to the bond than 'just romance'.
2nd Gen Terrans
Terrans who were born to other Terrans rather than created by the Emberstone or an Embershard.

they/she – Transformer: Mixed Terran – Protoform (Later Helicopter) – Cityspeaker
The (rather unexpected) child of Hashtag and Spitfire. It wasn't known that Terrans could reproduce until they came around. Despite the initial surprise and anxiety, they are well loved.
They might come off mean due to their teasing, but they care a lot about people around them. They just don't show it very clearly all the time. Even at a young age, they are drawn to taking a protector role, even with their own parents and especially with their younger (half) siblings.
They eventually end up taking the role their mother once held as the Cityspeaker bonded to Terratronus.
